Who is John Wellmore?

Photos backstage from a documentary based in the life of Cinema genius John Wellmore. Although, his incredible contribution to film history, he vanishes after his muse broke his heart. But who was this man?  Directed and written by Yas Donalson. If you want to see more pics, click on my flickr!

Behind the scenes

Along with the work on my short film Porcella, I’ve been invited as a Photographer for a couple of shootings in different places of this city.

These photos belong to a thriller short film call “TINIEBLAS” (like dark shadows) and the photos that I took were for making the book for the festivals circuits. The short film is inspired in classic – kitsch old horror movies of the 50’s. Directed by Niki Janowsky. Written by Dominick Capello. It’s gonna be super fun!

Principal cast of the movie: The good girl.

The bad boy. You’ll be seeing a lot about this guy in the next months. Stay tune with Aronofksy’s upcoming film.

One of the braid’s of Director Niki Janowski.

For some reason this remind me one of those very 80’s pics.

Rachel Errington with dancer Bafana Matea shooting one of the cherries on top of the movie.

One of the biggest pleasures of making this movie was be able to work with people from all around the world. Learn to communicate in all the languages and in all the ways of people mind and culture.

I took this photo at Scopello Restaurant in Brooklyn (one of the main locations). In the photo (from right to left): Joseph Guice (USA), Cesar Bracamonte (Ecuador), Rachel Errington (USA), Sayamol Klunmalee (Thailand), Paola Mathe (Haiti), Zeem (Colombia) and  Stavros Vaileaidis (Greece). Back on the corner, Scopello’s Owner Fabrizio (Italia) and Mei – Ling Chen (Taiwan).
