Bandera’s color palette

This was the color script I did for the different “Mayas” during his journey. At the beginning I change Maya’s color dress like a hundred of times until I get with the green. After that, the challenge was to adjust the green for each of the transformations that happens to Maya during his travel.

GLOBO – VIDEO

EnjoY!!!

Ballon englobado

Globo is a very small story about a Balloon fish who never went out of his cave. It is made completly with oleum and using hands, even in the smallest details. Me and my partner, Diego Peñuela who is an illustrator himself, always love this tecnique. Specially because we are big fans of Alexsandr Petrov’s work. Originally the idea was to made a fairy tale with Ballom and a ballerina fish that make him out of the cave. But we didn’t have time enough, so the dancer fish never saw the light. Although we end up doing the first sentence of the script: This is the story of a fish balloom that never went out of his cave. Because the complex of the technique we spent two months to create this clip as fluid as possible, specially because we had to control the form of the circle body and the spines had to move in the same direction one after another. Really funny!
